Module parameters:

  • Input DC 5~24V
  • Duty Ratio: 1% ~ 99%
  • Output Frequency: 0.1Hz ~ 102.4Hz, or 1Hz ~ 1024Hz, or 10Hz ~ 1024kHz (buyer can choose when placing order)

 Notes to be taken of power input:

Around central-left part on back of board, we have the "set input voltage" area. Bt default, the solder joint marked R0 are NOT soldered. When input is 5V, we need to solder them. When input is 7~24V, the joints must be dis-connected.

This is a mini size but very useful square wave signal generator module.

Onboard, we can adjust frequency and duty ratio through two independent potentiometers. The two high-precision pots have no interference against each other, so the module works stably at good performance.

Besides the onboard pots, we can also connect to external potentiometers.

Outputs:

Two-channel (same frequency, opposite phase)

On the output we have MOS. When connected to load or with resistor, we can test output wave shape.

Board Details:

Please refer to below diagram

Output Frequency Adjust:  to adjust frequency of output signal

Output Duty Ratio Adjust: to adjust the output duty ratio

Potentiometer Select: when using external pot, pls put jumper cap at the side of 'EXT'.  when using internal pot, pls put jumper cap at the side of 'INT'.

To external potentiometer: to connect to external pot. (connection marked onboard, pls refer to below photo)

Out1: Signal One output. The port marked 5V is 5V signal output. Max output current is 20mA. The port marked OC is output of open-collector, with 30V max voltage, and when at low level, can output up to 1500mA;

Out2: Signal Two output. The port 5V is 5v signal output. Max output current is 20mA. The port marked OC is output of open-collector, with 30V max voltage, and when at low level, can output up to 1500mA;

Power: Input DC5~24V (when polarity connected wrong, the board will not burn or damage, but it will not work)
